Crisis intervention

We understand that homelessness is never just about losing a roof over your head. It’s often the result of complex, deeply personal challenges, whether that is financial hardship, family breakdown, mental health struggles, or a sudden crisis.

We see the person behind the situation, and we offer support with empathy, dignity, and without judgement.

Our team is here to listen, to help, and to stand beside you every step of the way.

We work with people at risk of homelessness, as well as those already without a safe place to call home, offering practical help and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs.

If you’re facing homelessness or worried that you might be, please do not wait. Reach out to us. You are not alone, and there is help available. We believe that everyone deserves a safe, secure place to live, and we are here to help make that happen. Whatever you are going through, we’re here for you.

"Everyone was welcoming and I was put at ease quickly. They assigned me a support worker, who helped with pretty much everything."

"Then we were put in touch with PATH and met a wonderful lady called Suzanne. To say the PATH team were life savers is too mild - but they were."

"I phoned and arranged to see the team the very next day. I was a gibbering wreck, but they helped me in so many ways."

Your first point of contact

When someone reaches out to PATH for support, we act as a first point of contact to help understand their situation and needs. Much like a triage service, we quickly assess the urgency and nature of the crisis to make sure the right support is in place.

If it is something we can help with directly, our team will provide tailored support and guidance. If specialist help or housing services are needed, we work closely with our trusted partner organisations and Pembrokeshire County Council to make the right referrals.

Our aim is always to ensure that nobody faces homelessness alone and that every individual is treated with care, dignity and respect from the moment they get in touch.

Helping the homeless since 1979

We’ve been helping prevent homelessness in Pembrokeshire since 1979 and our team is now bigger than ever.

As a charity, all of the support we offer is absolutely free, with funding through Pembrokeshire County Council, Welsh Government and private donors making this possible.

In addition to providing support for those experiencing homelessness issues, we also try to educate the public about the causes of homelessness and what the wider community can do to help.

Helping us fund our future

Future funding is vital to ensure PATH can continue providing free and accessible support to people facing homelessness across Pembrokeshire. Every day, we work with individuals and families in crisis, offering guidance, advocacy and practical help when they need it most. As a small charity, we rely heavily on donations and grants to keep our services running.

Your support helps us offer life changing interventions such as emergency accommodation referrals, mental health support and one to one advice. Without continued funding, many of these vital services would not be possible. Every donation, no matter the size, plays a part in helping someone find safety, stability and hope for the future.

By supporting PATH, you are directly contributing to a brighter future for people in your community. Together, we can make sure that no one has to face homelessness alone. Thank you for being part of the change.
